Estimator Partners supports easy-to-use digital measuring devices such as Scale Master II for scaling off paper drawings in one of many different scales.
Assemblies allow the contractor to take off groups of bulk materials for a single system in a single takeoff.
Labor costs are built automatically as the materials list is created.
Equipment costs can be entered by selecting from a full list of equipment types with separate rates and hours worked.
Subcontractor costs can be tracked by individual line item.
Other Costs such as insurance and permits can also be tracked for a complete construction estimate.
The system allows the user to enter up to 8 different Markup Types, including Taxes, Burdens, Overheads and Profit margins, for full flexibility in creating the final quote.
55 different reports are available in an easy-to-access format, a Windows directory structure that easily sorts reports into categories. The user can easily see the estimate and supporting data in reports on the screen or in printed format. New reports are generated free of charge to contractors.

Builder Partners, LLC has developed a line of estimating software for Contractors that allows for different modules to be purchased beyond the Freeware LE Version. A Contractor can also purchase the Full Package Estimating Module for a nominal fee. The Full Package includes Material Takeoffs, Assemblies, Labor, Equipment, Subcontractors, Other Costs, Cost Summaries, Bid Markups, Labor Reports, Bid Reports, and FREE upgrades to all future versions of the Full Package program. Contractors only pay in the future for new modules or new services.
Estimator Partners is currently in Version 3 and development is underway. Current users have received up to four different upgrades completely FREE. Users have always been surprised to see email notifications that upgrades available on the web free of charge. That is and will remain our policy. We too have become tired of yearly fees associated with software upgrades. Suppliers never pay a yearly fee, either. Our fee structure was created to be an initial setup fee with no yearly upgrade fees or per user fees for the Supplier. It truly is a revolutionary idea in creating better business-to-business Relationships.
Future Development
Builder Partners, LLC is constantly developing new product lines to answer the needs of the construction industry. We have close ties to many contractors and suppliers and regularly analyze current demand within the industry. We work hard to incorporate the suggestions of contractors and suppliers into our software.
Estimator Partners was originally released as a Materials Only version in 1998. Then Labor was added in 1999. In July 2000 we released a Full Package Estimating System that included Equipment, Subcontractors, Other Costs and Markups. Our development continues with the following list of features:
